Whatever type of accommodation you are looking for in Dili, it’s easy to find something to suit. Most of the hotels in Dili are a little more expensive than your average backpacker hangout, a result of the strong UN presence in Timor-Leste. There are, however, still some decent hotels in Dili that have most of the bases covered.

Dili Backpackers is Dili’s premiere guesthouse, while Hotel Timor is the most lavish Dili hotel. Most of these Dili hotels don’t have a website so if you want to make a reservation, emailing is probably your best option. Failing that a phone call should be able to nab you a room in Dili without too much confusion.
